Trees and moss both need sunlight and air and water.
Yet, they share space amicably.
They both thrive.
Sometimes, we think we are failing because of needless comparison.
Like moss focusing on being as tall as an oak.
Like an oak wishing to be as untouched by storms as moss.
Your version of thriving, is yours. It doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s life.
The same is true of success. Of contentment.
Be moss. Be an oak.
A fern. A robin. A sea star.
Allow for the possibility that your current path to survival is correct and worthy of respect.
